North Whidbey SC Coaching Information
Coaching is a rewarding and fun way to spend time with your kids or volunteer in our soccer community. We are always looking for positive coaches that love our sport! You don’t need soccer experience to be a coach, but you do need to possess the desire to be a coach and to make the kids’ soccer season the best they can possibly have! We can help you get into training classes, provide ideas for practices, and much more!
There will be recreational coach meetings about two weeks prior to the first game where you will receive a coach binder with all the rules, practice locations, medical forms for the kids and parent/child/coach conduct forms. At this meeting you will get your equipment bag that will have several balls, pennies and cones.
Coaches must be available to hold practice twice a week for about an hour. Younger kids may only be able to do 45 minutes. Older kids may be able to do more than an hour. We also ask you not to hold practice until 5:00 or later to help accommodate working parents and kids who may not be getting off the bus until 4:45.
