Welcome to the North Whidbey SC, where we foster the love for soccer in our community through a three-program approach. Our mission is to promote, develop, and oversee both recreational and competitive soccer programs sanctioned by Washington Youth Soccer (WYS) as we strive to create an inclusive environment for players of all ages, skill levels, gender identities, and orientations, focusing on each player’s physical, mental, and emotional growth as we offer #SoccerForEveryone.
We offer a wide range of programs tailored to the individual player:
- Recreational Soccer: Join our inclusive and fun-filled recreational soccer program! From registrations to tournaments and valuable resources, we aim to make every child’s soccer experience memorable. We roster teams from U6 to U17 for spring and fall seasons.
- Deception Football Club: Our competitive travel soccer program (Select) offers advanced coaching and games throughout Western Washington. Tryouts are required for players to join DFC teams. You’ll find information about scholarships and more for your aspiring young players.
- Soccer Academy & Clinics: Enhance skills and knowledge through our academy’s structured curriculum led by local, experienced coaches. We aim to develop well-rounded players that pursue their soccer goals! Register today for August 2024 Academy sessions.
- Coaching & Referee Resources: Access a wealth of coaching materials, referee training, and guidance for fostering good sportsmanship and skill development, including how to sign up for these roles and the training you’re required to take before completing the background check requirements. We are accepting coaches for our Spring 2024 recreational season NOW!
- Exciting Events: Participate in our annual Matt Mikos Memorial Recreational Tournament and other fun club activities designed to bring our soccer community together in Oak Harbor and Whidbey Island.
- Fields & Schedules: Stay updated on recreational and select team schedules and field information.
